'88 polaris 400 classic and parts.
I have the following parts for a '90 Indy 500 Classic 1. Complete air box with carb boots $25 2. Headlight and gauge pod $35 3. Track $75 4. Secondary clutch $40 5. Oil bottle $10 7. Gas tank $25 8. Gear set and chain $25 9. Exhaust pipe $20 Will not ship any parts These parts will also fit many years of Indy's. Also have an '88 Polaris Indy Classic for sale for $300 firm. It is very nice sled just needs some new rear suspension parts. The rear skid is currently out waiting for parts. The sled has electric start, and a brand new fully studded track. This sled is VERY nice for the year! Fix the rear suspension and it is ready to roll. Most all the parts for the '90 will fit this sled, Will sell the whole package for $400. 1990 Polaris 500 Classic engine
I am parting out my 1990 Indy 500 Classic. The first thing for sale is the engine, which runs awesome. It will come ready to bolt in, with the carbs, clutch, Y-pipe, CDI, and engine plate. It has a starter on it but the clutch was replaced and doesn't have the ring gear. There are no miles on the the new weights and spring I put in the clutch. The sled shows 3*** something miles. I will wait to get a buyer before I unbolt the engine so it can be heard running. Price is $275. Located in Brodhead, WI, must pick up.

If it has the Walbro float carb, the fitting on top goes to the crankcase pulse fitting. the fitting on the side goes to your fuel tank.

Do you have the primer hooked up correctly, if the lines are on backwards it will act that way. Also make sure the line that goes into the tank is good.
